Framework agreement for reinforcement works of dykes in the Loire basin
At the beginning of August, the DREA (Regional Directorate for the Environment, Planning and Housing) in the Centre region awarded the VINCI Construction Terrassement / Soletanche Bachy France consortium the framework agreement for the cut-off walls works for dykes in the Loire basin.
Cut-off walls work will be carried out using the Trenchmix® dry method, which has been widely tested over the past five years on the various construction projects carried out for DREA Centre.
The works may include any type of dyke in more or less urbanised areas of the Loire basin, with maximum depths of 10m. Each section will be renegotiated by DREAL with all of the companies awarded the contract.
This framework agreement is concluded for a period of 12 months. It may be renewed three times for successive periods of a year, without exceeding a total duration of four years.
The first works are set to take place in early 2020.
