Project Description

We maintain and extend the life of your structures.

Soletanche Bachy offers a range of reinforcing solutions which allow you to build new structures while preserving the robustness of the nearby constructions, and to consolidate your existing structures.

Reinforcing techniques can be used as part repair work, notably for problems involving hydrology (pumping from the water table, drought, etc.) that might lead to subsidence beneath surface buildings. In the case of new construction close to existing structures, reinforcing can limit the subsidence caused by work on the new structure, preserving the robustness of existing structures. Whether for new-build or repair, Soletanche Bachy can draw on a wide portfolio of reinforcing techniques to offer you a solution adapted to the constraints of your project.

Underpinning works, Ensuring the longevity of existing structures.

This technique allows the modification, reinforcement, replacement, or deepening of foundations under an existing structure.

Underpinning the foundations of a building consists of carrying out work for the partial or total transfer of the load to ensure the longevity of a building that has become unstable, notably through deformation of the terrain.

Springsol®, Ground reinforcement by inclusion.

This procedure involves producing soil-cement columns by Soil Mixing using an opening tool.

This type of reinforcement improves the overall characteristics of the soil (by inclusion). It reduces the risk of subsidence due to the presence of cavities, and can also reinforce existing foundations or rafts, or ensure stabilisation of polluted soils.
