The project consists of building a 200m tower on the Rose de Cherbourg site in the district of La Défense, comprising 49 floors of mainly office space, with six underground floors to house technical facilities and a car park. The plot on which the project will be built covers some 2,500m². The site is on a significant slope between the Boulevard Circulaire de La Défense, Avenue du Général de Gaulle, the access points on the Rue de la Demi Lune.

Designed by Les Ateliers Jean Nouvel, the project is led by the property groups AG Real Estate and Hines France. They awarded the construction contract for the tower to Bateg, with Egis and Aedis as prime contractors. Soletanche Bachy France was called in as a subcontractor by Bateg to build diaphragm wall with struts and foundation piles.

Work began in July 2018 with pre-treatment boring. It will continue in August with the installation phase of the diaphragm walls, with the slurry silos positioned on the Boulevard Circulaire.

The excavation is due to start in September.

The 32 panels with a depth of 32m and thickness of 1m are due to be completed by December 2018.

The 120 stays will be fitted as earthmoving work progresses from January to March 2019. Lastly, the Starsol® piles will be installed by Soletanche Bachy Fondations Spéciales (SBFS) from the bottom of the excavation from spring 2019.
