From June 14 to 18, the Austrian capital hosted ICSMGE, the International Conference on Soil Mechanics and Geotechnical Engineering. Held every four years, this major event is a key milestone in the global geotechnical calendar, bringing together researchers, engineers and companies to share the latest scientific and technical advances.<\/p>\n<\/div>

<\/div>

Soil behavior, foundations, geotechnical structures, natural hazards, adaptation to climate change: the week provided an opportunity for in-depth exchanges between academic research and field practice, in a format that traditionally gathers several thousand participants from around the world.<\/p>\n

Soletanche Bachy shared a booth with Geoquest and Menard, designed as a joint showcase highlighting the complementarity of geotechnical expertise within Soletanche Freyssinet.<\/p>\n

Paul Vidil, Deputy Director of the Eurofrance design office, delivered a plenary presentation on the key role of geotechnical stakeholders in supporting sustainability.<\/p>\n

Several of our subsidiaries also attended to represent Soletanche Bachy: Zetas, HBM, Soletanche Polska, Soletanche Bachy International, SBR and Soletanche Bachy France were all present on site \u2014 a strong mobilization illustrating the international footprint of our expertise in foundations and underground construction.<\/p>\n
