A 100% Electric Construction Site: Soletanche Bachy France Works on the Redevelopment of a Building in Paris<\/h1><\/div><\/div>As part of the restructuring of an office building on Rue Condorcet (Paris 9th arrondissement), Soletanche Bachy France carried out ground treatment to address gypsum dissolution phenomena.<\/p>\n<\/div>
<\/div>A Complex Project in a Constrained Urban Environment<\/h2><\/div>A Complex Project in a Constrained Urban Environment<\/strong><\/p>\nLocated in the heart of Paris, this project\u2014led by Soletanche Bachy France and NEOM (lead contractor) on behalf of Soci\u00e9t\u00e9 Fonci\u00e8re Lyonnaise\u2014is part of an ambitious urban redevelopment program to convert the site into residential apartments. The goal: reintegrate this historic site into the local community by opening it up to residents.<\/p>\n
Working indoors, within existing buildings and in a densely built urban area, required innovative technical solutions. From the preparatory phase, what was initially considered a possibility\u2014a 100% electric approach\u2014was implemented thanks to the initiative of our teams.<\/p>\n
A dedicated electrical installation was set up to simultaneously power:<\/p>\n
\n- During the first production phase:
\n\u2022 Two C8 XP2 drilling rigs
\n\u2022 One MC4D drilling rig
\n\u2022 One MC6 drilling rig<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n <\/p>\n
\n- During the second production phase:
\n\u2022 Two MC3D drilling rigs
\n\u2022 One MC6 drilling rig

Collaboration with NEOM, a specialist in site clearing, also allowed for shared waste management and significantly reduced the site\u2019s carbon footprint.<\/p>\n<\/div>
<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>Technical Results Delivered<\/strong><\/p>\nDespite the site\u2019s constraints, the teams delivered an outstanding performance:<\/p>\n
\n- 403 boreholes drilled to a depth of 37 meters<\/li>\n
- 6,000 m\u00b3 of grout injected for backfilling<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
