AXELERE is the name of the consortium formed by Demathieu Bard and Soletanche Bachy France, which has been awarded the contract to upgrade Kennedy station in order to increase the capacity of line A of Rennes\u2019 automatic metro system. <\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div> With the steady growth in metro ridership, the city of Rennes has decided to increase the frequency of trains on line A at peak times, with the aim of carrying 9,300 people per hour per direction (compared with 7,500 today).<\/p>\n In concrete terms, this involves creating a new platform and a rear station of approximately 200 metres.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/span><\/div>
